Babor has just launched their new Antiaging Sun Care range which contains no titanium dioxide, catering for each and every skin tone.

Sunlight is good for us and it makes us happy. It supplies the body with vitamin D and stimulates the production of natural “happy” hormones. But unfortunately the sun also makes us age faster. Sun exposure is responsible for 80 percent of our fine lines and wrinkles, this is why the new Babor antiaging sun care range not only contains effective UV filters, but also a powerful anti-aging complex, which doubles the protection against harmful UV rays.

Effective UVA filters protect against premature skin aging caused by UVA radiation, while UVB filters block these particularly energy-rich rays, which can cause sunburn and pigment marks. The anti-aging complex additionally protects cellular DNA and contains the potent radical quenchers’ vitamin E and vitamin C encapsulated in an intelligent spherical carrier. This becomes porous when exposed to UV rays, and activates the vitamins. At the same time, an extract of cassia didimobotrya wraps itself around the cell like a protective mantle.

The highlight of this new, re-formulated and re-packaged product is the textures are so smooth and silky that their moisturizing effect lasts all day long, and re-applying the lotion and the cream is hassle free.

Along with the sunscreen, the new special Babor after sun is exactly tailored to the skin’s needs after sun exposure, it regenerates existing skin damage, supply moisture and relieves redness.

The formula contains a complex of cardiospermum, echium and sunflower extract to strengthen the acid mantle, the skin’s natural protective barrier, while also safeguarding epidermal stem cells against environmental stress. A tan accelerator containing monk’s pepper increases melanin synthesis, thereby ensuring that a summer tan is not only more even but also lasts particularly longer.

Available in SPF factors: 15;30 and 50.  Available at all specialised Babor outlets.

*Please note that Babor has re-formulated and re-packaged these products.
